Launch: A new European Declaration on Global Education to 2050.

ANGEL partners Global Education Network Europe (GENE) would like to invite ANGEL members to a high-level political meeting which will take place on Monday 14 June at 14:00 - 15:00 Central European Time. You will find the latest information about the launch here including an agenda for the event and a registration form. There is no registration deadline.

The event will look to the future of Global Education and will launch an 18-month process leading to the development of a new European Declaration on Global Education to 2050. The event will also mark the 20th anniversary of GENE and will acknowledge the progress made in Global Education in Europe over the last 20 years. 

The launch will start with an opening by EU Commissioner for International Partnerships, Ms. Jutta Urpilainen. Ministers of Education, Foreign Affairs and International Development from across Europe will then engage in a dialogue on the importance of Global Education to education policy, foreign policy and international cooperation.
