ANGEL partners GENE launching important new initiative for GE.

ANGEL partners Global Education Network Europe (GENE) are preparing, on the 14 June, to launch a process towards a new “European Declaration on Global Education to 2050”. This will be the start of an 18-month process culminating on a Congress in November 2022 and a Declaration, 20 years after the first Maastricht Congress and Declaration.

About the Process

The purpose of the process is to inspire broader and deeper political support and policy commitment to Global Education. How?

• By establishing a series of strategic and practical proposals for developing a new European Declaration on Global Education to 2050.
• By inviting national ministries and agencies, international organisations and key stakeholders in Global Education in Europe to engage in vision-making, policy consensus and declaration agreement.
