Call for abstracts for online conference commemorating the 100th anniversary of Paulo Freire’s life.

An important international online conference entitled: Education, Democracy and Citizenship: A Celebration of Paulo Freire Centennial Year will be hosted next year by the UCLA School of Education, the University of Southern California (USC), and Soka University of America.

The event, planned to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Paulo Freire’s life, "seeks to highlight ways in which Freire’s concepts can be employed in a 21st century context and with the aim of building a more just
world through ethics-based educational programs and policies".

The call for abstracts has just opened:

• Abstract decisions released: 4/1/2022
