CARDET (Center for the Advancement of Research & Development in Educational Technology) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental, research and development organization based in Cyprus, with partners around the world. CARDET is one of the leading institutions in the Euro-Mediterranean region for research and development. Our team strives to offer the highest quality services to benefit society. We collaborate with local and international organizations, public and private bodies, and across diverse disciplines in designing solutions for local and global challenges. Our objectives are -among others- to:

- Develop education and training solutions for diverse contexts and clients
- Advance basic and applied research across disciplines
- Strengthen the role of civil society and promote civic engagement

CARDET implements various Development Education and Awareness Raising (DEAR) projects funded by the European Commission (DEAR Programme, EuropeAid) with a core expertise in Global Education. Currently, it implements the projects "InterCap: Develop capacities together" about migration and sustainable development (www.developtogether.eu) as coordinator and "Walk the Global Walk" (https://www.walktheglobalwalk.eu) as project partner and has also implemented the projects "EAThink2015. Eat local, think global" (www.eathink2015.org), SSEDAS about sustainable and solidarity economy (www.solidarityeconomy.eu).
