ANGEL members involved in diverse sessions at ECER 2023.

ANGEL has a presence at the European Conference on Educational Research (ECER), to be hosted in Glasgow on the 21-25 August, with multiple sessions being led by, or featuring presentations by members.

• ANGEL Advisory Board members Doug Bourn and Massimiliano Tarozzi lead the Symposium: "European voices for Global Education and Learning" on Friday 25th, featuring presentations from members in Portugal, Finland and Italy.
• Board member Magdalena Kuleta-Hulboj will present at Thursday's session on "Teachers' views and attitudes in ESE".
• Member Namrata Sharma (State University of New York) Chairs the discussion session "Global Citizenship as a Pedagogy of Hope" on Thursday 24th.
• Members Marta da Costa (Manchester Metropolitan University) and Karen Pashby (Manchester Metropolitan University) are also running a symposum on Friday titled "Critically (re/de)valuing ‘Diversity’ in Higher Education and Schooling in England, Scotland and Ireland".
• Member Corinne Angier presents on Thursday as part of the "Rethinking Mathematics Classrooms - Engagement, Well-being, and Global Citizenship" session.
• Recent ANGEL keynote speaker Arjen Wals Chairs a paper session on "Transformative learning and ESE" on Thursday.
• Member Lili-Ann Wolff (University of Helsinki) presents as part of Friday's symposium on "Transformative Learning".
• Member Greg Mannion (University of Stirling) Chairs Friday's Symposium on "The Use of Theory in Environmental and Sustainability Education Research"
